DO I NEED A DEGREE OR BACKGROUND IN SCIENCE OR EDUCATION TO QUALIFY?
Although a degree in science or education would be beneficial, it is not required. Many of our current franchisees had never facilitated a science experience prior to becoming a High Touch High Tech (ht2) franchise owner.
Like any small business, or franchise business, a confident attitude is needed. Experience in sales & marketing, business administration, and working with children is the skill set that will help you jump start your operation and support long-term growth. Our franchisees have an entrepreneurial spirit, enjoy working with children, recognize the need for quality science education & enrichment and want to make a valuable contribution to their community. WILL I PERSONALLY TEACH HIGH TOUCH HIGH TECH WORKSHOPS?
We recommend every High Touch High Tech franchise owner gain experience in the field by facilitating programs and experiments during the initial start-up phase. This first-hand knowledge is beneficial when marketing your services to schools, international schools, preschools, camps, and any new customers within your territory. As your business grows, you will hire a staff of scientists to facilitate our popular science programs so that you can focus on your small business ideas and continue to grow your franchise business. StaffingWHAT TEACHING METHOD IS USED FOR HIGH TOUCH HIGH TECH PROGRAMS?
Our scientists use a practical teaching method that guides students through engaging discussions and provides step-by-step instructions on how to perform experiments. All ht2 programs are hands-on for each and every student. We are not a show, but rather an up-close experience where students execute real experiments using real science materials.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SCIENCE CURRICULUM?
Our programs align with national and state standards for science and include fun and educational science projects. High Touch High Tech programs span all areas of science, including but not limited to: chemistry, biology, earth science, weather, climate, physics, genetics, space, etc. Some of our "fan favorites" include: chemical reactions, erupting volcanoes, launching rockets, making water fly, electricity, magnetism, and much more. All programs are accompanied by a dialogue, supply list and any additional supportive materials to help you teach the necessary concepts. We are a home based franchise for sale. A High Touch High Tech franchise is a business opportunity you can easily operate from within your home. As your business grows, you may feel it necessary to lease or purchase office space; however, that decision is yours to make when the time is right.DO I GET AN EXCLUSIVE TERRITORY?
Yes! All franchise territories are protected and exclusive. We will not sell another ht2 franchise within your territory. DOES HIGH TOUCH HIGH TECH PROVIDE FINANCING?
High Touch High Tech offers an in-house financing program allowing up to 40% of the franchise fee to be financed at a competitive interest rate. Franchisees are expected to pay a minimum of 60% of the franchise fee upon execution of the franchise agreement. Financing ProgramWHAT KIND OF TRAINING WILL I RECEIVE?
We conduct franchise training at our Corporate Headquarters in Asheville, NC USA. Your training will last 5-days and include a comprehensive review of our business strategy, marketing plan, programs, supplies, technology resources and more. Training and Development Program
WHERE DO I GET MY SUPPLIES?
Much of what you purchase will be easily found at the local grocery, pharmacy or hardware store. The balance of what you need will be purchased from on-line suppliers. We also offer branded materials that can be purchased from Corporate Headquarters.We provide all franchisees with a list of approved vendors from whom we recommend you purchase your supplies. We have a long-standing relationship with many of our suppliers and several offer corporate discounts to our High Touch High Tech franchisees.
